- Since they are unable to walk it could affect their job status. If they are not able to do their job while injured this could result in modified hours or having to take time off.

- Having a total hip replacement from a fall can be traumatic. The fear of falling can significantly limit a patient’s ability to recover so it is important to address this throughout treatment. It is important to consider how she is feeling and to try and modify treatment to help address her concerns. A potential referral to a psychiatric specialist may be beneficial.
