Physical and emotional safety of the patient

You are working in a private practice clinic where you have an abundance of equipment in your gym. You have stairs, treadmill, electric bike, a cable machine, dumbbells and kettlebells at your disposal. Before showing someone an exercise on the cable machine, you notice that the cable looks odd. As you inspect it, you see that the cable looks as if it’s about to snap.

How do you care for the physical and emotional safety of the patient?
